Benjamin Doyle to the Minister for the Public Service: On what date, if any, did the Minister and the Chief Executives of the agencies they are responsible for, if any, ensure that all staff involved in the development of government regulatory proposals are familiar with the contents of Cabinet Office Circular CO (24) 7 - Impact Analysis Requirements, if at all?

Hon Judith Collins: The Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet notified government agencies in mid-December that the circular had been issued. In February the Minister for Regulation wrote to Ministers and the Secretary for Regulation wrote to department Chief Executives updating agencies on the matter. This correspondence was passed to relevant staff. I am advised that the Cabinet Office Circular CO (24) 7 - Impact Analysis Requirements was made available to all staff at the Commission, on their internal intranet on 17 February 2025.
