Hon Nicola Willis: I am advised that the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment has undertaken a series of actions to ensure that all staff involved in the development of government regulatory proposals are familiar with the contents of Cabinet Office Circular CO (24) 7 starting with the publication of updated regulatory impact analysis intranet guidance on 14 January 2025. Subsequent activities have included communications to MBIE policy staff and managers on the changes resulting from CO (24) 7 and updating internal staff training materials on regulatory impact analysis.
