17968 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Regulation: What role, if any, has he or his office played in reviewing the regulatory settings governing heavy vehicle permitting since the Government identified fuel conservation as a policy priority?

Hon David Seymour: As Minister for Regulation, I have been a part of a small group of Ministers overseeing all work on the fuel crisis, including directing agencies to carry out analysis of those proposals and considering their advice.
