Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that it has tracked employee morale over recent years through its periodic Organisational Health Index surveys. Rather than relying on a single “morale” score, the survey looks at a range of factors linked to how employees feel about their work, such as engagement, motivation, and overall experience. These results are then compared against a broader global benchmark provided by the survey company to help understand how Kāinga Ora is tracking over time and relative to other organisations.
