17947 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: How many Kāinga Ora houses have been delivered in 2025/26 using the Housing Delivery System and what percentage of the total number of new houses delivered does that represent?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities advises me that 277 homes were delivered in 2025/26 to 31 March 2026 by Kāinga Ora on its own land (redevelopment) and were completed using the Housing Delivery System. These 277 homes are 43 percent of the total homes added to the Kāinga Ora housing stock.
