17943 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: How many, if any, houses did Kāinga Ora purchase from developers to date in 2025/26 and what is the average cost of those houses?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities advises me that it acquired 359 new homes from the market from builders and developers in 2025/26 from 1 July 2025 to 31 March 2026. The average cost of the homes was $823,860.
