17941 (2026). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister of Transport: What have been the minimum, average, and maximum processing times for NZTA contractor prequalification applications over the past three years?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) does not formally track processing times in the way the Member has requested. Processing time for prequalification applications is influenced primarily by the completeness and quality of information provided at submission. Comprehensive applications can be assessed as quickly as two working days.
