17933 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Further to his reply to Written Parliamentary Question 36141 (2025), in which he attributed the omission of briefing GSR-25-18517 from the original reply to Written Parliamentary Question 5215 (2025) to an administrative error, was the corrected reply reviewed for accuracy before it was filed, and does the date of 13 February 2025 listed for that briefing in the corrected reply accurately reflect the date of receipt?

Hon Chris Bishop: The amended reply was not sufficiently reviewed for accuracy, and I thank the member for bringing this to my attention. Initially, the briefing was excluded from a WPQ response due to a delay in recording/logging the briefing when it was received by my office. When the briefing was recorded, the staff member accidentally wrote ‘13/02/2025’ instead of ‘12/03/2025’ as the date received. This was a manual data entry error – setting off a subsequent chain of errors, like the wrong WPQ being corrected. I have now corrected: - WPQ 5215 (2025) by removing reference to “KO, 13/02/2025, GSR-25-18517, Variation request to IAF funding agreement with Hutt City Council, RiverLink development” - WPQ 10962 (2025) by adding reference to that briefing, with the correct date received of 12/03/2025, and - WPQ 36141 (2025) by updating the reference to which WPQ has been corrected.
