17932 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Prime Minister: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning 21 April with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and when are the consultations scheduled to close?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the Responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by the DPMC. I am advised that no consultations with DPMC and NEMA staff have been carried out regarding any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions for the weeks commencing 7 April and 14 April 2025. I am advised that there are no consultations with DPMC and NEMA staff planned for the week commencing 21 April 2025.
