17924 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: How many social housing redirects, if any, approved since 1 July 2025 were funded using funds provided for in Budget 2025 for an additional 550 social houses in Auckland?

Hon Chris Bishop: Redirects are defined as properties that Community Housing Providers already manage but have not previously attracted an income-related rent subsidy. No redirects were funded using funds provided for in Budget 2025 for an additional 550 social housing places in Auckland. This response also answers question 17937 (2026).
