17915 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Further to his reply to Written Parliamentary Question 55046 (2025), in which he states that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development provided its comments to Kāinga Ora which were included in its advice, is he aware that Kāinga Ora sought further information from Hutt City Council on 27 February 2025 in response to queries raised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development on the ministerial briefing, and if so, what were those queries?

Hon Chris Bishop: I would expect that Kāinga Ora, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, and Hutt City Council would work together and feed into advice on the Infrastructure Acceleration Fund funding variation, as necessary.
