17838 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Police: What consultations did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, open on the week beginning 7 April with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and when are the consultations due to close?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Police’s “People Services Operating Model” proposes to disestablish 30 positions, seven of which are vacant. Additionally, there are 69 positions proposed which will have minor impacts, with six of these also vacant. However, Police has created 29 new positions as a result of this change proposal. The consultation period for this operating model closes on Thursday 1 May 2025. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Question 18326 (2025).
