17750 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: In response to Reply 13439 (2026), of the 62 schools that have reported weather-related damage to the Ministry of Education since 1 January 2026, how many, if any, have received financial support from the Ministry of Education?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) that 78 schools have requested additional funding to support with property related damage. The Ministry cannot collate how many schools have received the additional funding in the time available to respond to written parliamentary questions. We would require an additional week to work through this. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 17751 (2026).
