17749 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: In response to Reply 13439 (2026), what, if anything, is the amount of financial support received by the 62 schools that have reported weather-related damage to the Ministry of Education since 1 January 2026?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that as at 30 April 2026, $2.82 million in weather related funding support was provided to schools between 1 January 2026 to 30 April 2026. Schools have been allocated funding based on the assessed loss or cost to repair damage.
