Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many public hospitals' audits in each of the past three financial years, identified one or more criteria relating to infection prevention and control as “Partially Attained” or “Not Attained”; and what proportion of total public hospital facility audits does this represent?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that a total of 46 audits were undertaken across 19 public hospitals between 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2026. Of those 46 audits, 24 audits across 15 public hospitals identified one or more criteria as 'partially attained' relating to infection prevention and control.
