Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many findings, if any, of “Partially Attained” and “Not Attained” have been recorded against each infection prevention and control-related criterion of Ngā Paerewa Health and Disability Services Standard NZS 8134:2021, broken down by specific criterion and any sub criterion for each of the past three financial years for each public hospital?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that audits conducted from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2026 identified 38 'partially attained' against each infection prevention and control-related criterion of Ngā Paerewa Health and Disability Services Standard NZS 8134:2021. I refer the Member to the attached table.
