Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Has HealthCERT issued any directions, notices, or formal corrective action requirements to any public hospital in relation to infection prevention or control failings in the past three years under the Health and Disability Services (Safety) Act 2001; if so, to which hospitals, on what dates, and on what grounds?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised, yes, for audits conducted between April 2023 and April 2026, 38 corrective actions related to infection prevention and control were issued to public hospitals as a condition of certification under the Health and Disability Services (Safety) Act 2001. I refer the Member to the table attached.
