17667 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Which public hospitals have the longest-standing unresolved infection prevention or control (IPC) corrective action requirements; and what is the longest period for which an IPC-related corrective action has remained outstanding?
Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that from 2022 to date, four public hospitals have had recurring partial attainments, over varying periods, related to infection prevention and control that remain as a partial attainment. These public hospitals are:
• Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Waikato
• Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Tairāwhiti
• Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland
• Health New Zealand- Te Whatu Ora Nelson Marlborough
