17631 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Associate Minister of Defence: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning 14 April with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and when are the consultations expected to close?

Hon Chris Penk: Consultations with Veterans’ Affairs New Zealand staff relating to the Workforce Savings Programme were opened on 15 April and close on 9 May 2025. No decision has been made regarding the number of affected roles.
