17614 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Customs: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning 21 April with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and when are the consultations scheduled to close?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that for the weeks beginning 7 April 2025, 14 April 2025 and 21 April 2025, the New Zealand Customs Service did not open any consultations and does not plan to open any consultations with employees regarding any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions. This response is inclusive of the staff of the Border Executive Board Secretariat as these staff are considered employees of the New Zealand Customs Service.
