Benjamin Doyle to the Minister for Courts: On what date, if any, did the Minister and the Chief Executives of the agencies they are responsible for, if any, ensure that all staff involved in the development of government regulatory proposals are familiar with the contents of Cabinet Office Circular CO (24) 7 - Impact Analysis Requirements, if at all?

Hon Nicole McKee: I am advised that on 11 December 2024, the Ministry of Justice’s Policy Group staff were advised of the upcoming Cabinet Office changes to the Regulatory Impact Analysis requirements and wider regulatory policy making process changes. On 16 December 2024, the Cabinet Office Circular (CO (24) 7) was circulated to Policy Group management for distribution and sharing with their teams.
