17545 (2025). Benjamin Doyle to the Minister for Children: On what date, if any, did the Minister and the Chief Executives of the agencies they are responsible for, if any, ensure that all staff involved in the development of government regulatory proposals are familiar with the contents of Cabinet Office Circular CO (24) 7 - Impact Analysis Requirements, if at all?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that on 17 January 2025 all staff involved in the development of government regulatory proposals were advised of the contents of Cabinet Office Circular CO (24) 7 - Impact Analysis Requirements which sets out the requirements for Ministers and agencies developing government regulatory proposals. On 14 February 2025, I received a letter from Hon Daivd Seymour, Minister for Regulation, which outlines the changes to Cabinet Office Circular CO (24) 7 - Impact Analysis Requirements. My Office informed Oranga Tamariki of this letter on 19 February 2025.
