17514 (2025). Benjamin Doyle to the Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage: On what date, if any, did the Minister and the Chief Executives of the agencies they are responsible for, if any, ensure that all staff involved in the development of government regulatory proposals are familiar with the contents of Cabinet Office Circular CO (24) 7 - Impact Analysis Requirements, if at all?
Hon Paul Goldsmith: On 14 February 2025 I received a letter from the Minister for Regulation, outlining the Circular CO (24) 7 Impact Analysis Requirements. I am advised a similar letter from the Ministry for Regulation was received by the Ministry for Culture and Heritage Chief Executive on 24 February 2025. The Ministry for Culture and Heritage is responsible for operational decisions, including ensuring its staff are aware of all necessary Cabinet Office circulars. While I expect reporting agencies to stay up to date on all relevant Cabinet Office circulars and notices, I do not receive information at this level of detail as part of regular reporting from the Ministry.
