17362 (2026). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Health: Has he directed any of the health agencies to prepare for possible fuel shortages, and if so, what preparation are they undertaking?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that officials are preparing a health system fuel response plan as part of the All of Government response to the National Fuel Plan. To prepare, officials have been engaging with the health sector to support development of the health system response. Most or all health services are expected to be categorised as critical services and would be prioritised for fuel allocation with no caps under the National Fuel Plan.
