Hon Chris Bishop: As Minister of Transport, I can confirm that I have neither requested nor received advice on increasing electric vehicle uptake since the beginning of the fuel crisis. However, I have received regular updates on EV registration trends (this is publicly available at https://www.transport.govt.nz/statistics-and-insights/fleet-statistics/sheet/low-emissions-vehicle-report).
