17342 (2026). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: Since 1 January 2024, how many, if any, complaints or formal concerns relating to leadership conduct have been received for Rimutaka Prison, Auckland Prison, and Christchurch Men’s Prison, respectively, and what was the outcome of each, if any?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised of the following complaints or formal concerns relating to leadership conduct since 1 January 2024: • At Rimutaka Prison there were two complaints in relation to one staff member. This person no longer works for Corrections. • At Auckland Prison there have been six complaints, none of which were upheld. • There are no record of instances at Christchurch Men's Prison.
