17337 (2026). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: What has been the number of reported prisoner-on-staff assaults and serious incidents, by quarter, if any, at Rimutaka Prison, Auckland Prison, and Christchurch Men’s Prison since 1 January 2024?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I refer the member the attached tables which provides prisoner-on-staff assault data, broken down by prison and assault category, for the period 1 January 2024 to 31 March 2026.
