17333 (2026). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: What briefings, if any, has the Minister received since 1 January 2024 relating to staff safety, workplace culture, or leadership issues at Rimutaka Prison, Auckland Prison, and Christchurch Men’s Prison, and on what dates?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I have received no briefings relating to staff safety, workplace culture, or leadership issues at Rimutaka Prison, Auckland Prison, and Christchurch Men’s Prison since 1 January 2024, however I do receive regular briefings on staff safety across the prison network.
