Hon Julie Anne Genter to the Minister for Building and Construction: Have Ministers held any discussions on how the funding model used for the Te Awa Lakes development could be applied to the different types of earthquake-prone building owners, including owners in multi-owner residential buildings, commercial owners, not-for-profit owners, Crown owners, or local government owners?

Hon Chris Penk: I refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 17372 (2026). Additional options are being considered to support the remaining building owners who still face large remediation costs.
