17326 (2025). Hūhana Lyndon to the Minister of Health: How does the government plan to ensure that the integrity of the health system and the prevention of fraud, which is estimated to save $300 million annually, will be maintained if the audit assurance and risk team is reduced in size?

Hon Simeon Brown: As I said in Written Parliamentary Question 17321 (2025), I am pleased to inform the Member that integrating the audit team will increase the number of auditors from HPIT’s 11.8 to a total of 26 auditors in the new integrated team.
