17317 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Education: Why will recent changes to school transport already made in Manawatū not be reversed while school transport assistance policy is reviewed?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) will not be reversing already implemented route changes, such as the ones in the Manawatū area, while the transport policy review is underway. Until any changes to school transport policy is approved, current policy settings continue to apply.
