Hon Nicola Grigg: Legislation to establish the framework for the new planning system is currently before Parliament. That framework makes clear that human health limits must be set for water quality, and these should be informed by relevant health guidelines. Decisions on setting environmental limits will be made in due course, informed by health guidelines, and subject to public consultation.
