17297 (2026). Ingrid Leary to the Associate Minister of Housing: What legal advice, if any, did he seek on applying some reforms to existing contracts, but not others, with the proposed changes to The Retirement Villages Act; if so, by whom and when?

Hon Tama Potaka: I received legal advice on the application of changes to existing occupation right agreements (ORAs) from my officials at the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development in October 2025. I cannot release this advice as it is legally privileged.
