Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that those who are waiting for a funded insulin pump are advised to continue with their usual diabetes management, such as subcutaneous insulin, as well as their ongoing specialist care from a multidisciplinary team. I am further advised that those who are considered high-risk, such as diabetics who are pregnant, are prioritised and fitted with an insulin pump more quickly.
