17286 (2025). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Associate Minister of Immigration: How many requests for ministerial intervention, if any, did the minister receive, where the individual has made a request for ministerial intervention which has been declined in the past 12 months?

Hon Chris Penk: I am advised that for Immigration New Zealand to provide data on requests for ministerial intervention made in the past 12 months would require substantial collation which would prevent staff from undertaking their substantive roles. I do not consider this to be in the public interest.
