17285 (2025). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Associate Minister of Immigration: How many requests for ministerial intervention from individuals who have made requests for ministerial intervention previously declined in the past 12 months, if any, have been received between 12 - 18 months of the initial decline?

Hon Chris Penk: I am advised that for Immigration New Zealand to provide data on requests for ministerial intervention made in the past 12 months would require substantial collation which would prevent staff from undertaking their substantive roles. I do not consider this to be in the public interest.
