17281 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Is the wait time for insulin pump training reflected in publicly reported data on wait times for first specialist appointments, if not, why not?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that wait times for insulin pump training is not reflected in publicly reported first specialist appointment (FSA) data because pump therapy is initiated through follow-up specialist care, not at the first appointment.
