17280 (2025). Hūhana Lyndon to the Minister for Māori Development: Were the criteria, if any, for accessing the Whenua Māori Fund adjusted to ensure that applicants who would have qualified for the Te Ringa Hāpai Whenua Fund are still able to access funding?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised by Te Puni Kōkiri that applicants with initiatives that would have qualified for Te Ringa Hāpai funding have been able to apply to the Māori Development Fund. Funding priorities for the Māori Development Fund in 2024/25 include improving the productivity of Iwi or Māori assets (including whenua Māori).
