17279 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Is the answer to WPQ 66383 (2024) correct that $6,364,613 was spent on the Southern Links project since November 2023, if so, why do the answers to WPQs 11556 (2025) and 15837 (2025) state that only $952,284 was spent on this project since 1 November 2023?

Hon Chris Bishop: I have been advised that NZTA’s advice for WPQ 11556 (2025) was incorrect and covered investment case costs only. The costs between 1 November 2023 to 31 March 2025 were $7,915,232.42. I will be issuing a correction to WPQ 11556 (2025) in due course.
