17278 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: How many, if any, schools and ECEs contacted the Ministry of Education regarding the Wellington floods and/or regional State of Emergency?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Ministry of Education (the Ministry) does not hold a central record of the number of schools and early learning services that contacted the Ministry. The Greater Wellington office maintained regular contact with various Principals and Service Providers that contacted them.
