17263 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Economic Growth: How, if at all, will the Government measure and quantify the success of the recently announced initiative "Going for Growth: backing NZ wool producers?"

Hon Nicola Willis: The success of the recently announced Going for Growth: backing NZ wool producers initiative will be indicated by government agencies considering wool as an option, where previously they may not have, as a result of the new procurement requirement and ultimately wool products being selected for use in a broader range of government contracts. Compliance with the procurement rules will be monitored by MBIE.
