17252 (2026). Steve Abel to the Associate Minister of Agriculture: What statements, if any, has the Minister made regarding the application of animal welfare standards to imported products or the Animal Products (Closing the Welfare Gap) Amendment Bill, by date?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: I have made a number of statements to the media and public regarding the application of animal welfare standards to imported products. I do not think it is in the public interest for my office to spend considerable time collating them.
