17239 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: What, if anything, will the diesel boilers at up to 70 schools nationwide be replaced with?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that replacement options for diesel boilers will be determined following recommendations from onsite assessments. Solutions will include heat pumps, electric burners and potentially pellet boilers.
