17184 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Finance: When, if at all, did the Minister first commission advice around the potential impact of US tariffs on the New Zealand economy?

Hon Nicola Willis: I receive regular advice on factors affecting the New Zealand economy, including global developments. The potential impact of tariffs has therefore been incorporated in Treasury’s advice to me since the US election as appropriate.
