17179 (2026). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister for State Owned Enterprises: What, if any, would the negative impacts be for NZ Post of retaining the services at Lamb’s Pharmacy on Karangahape Road?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that NZ Post is making changes to help ensure its urban retail network has the right number of stores with the right service offerings in the right locations. The move will see fewer stores, that offer a better experience and are better able to handle the volume of parcels that customers are sending and collection from stores. These changes will help NZ Post operate in a more commercially sustainable way.
