17158 (2026). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Finance: Has she received advice, if any, regarding the relationship between energy company profits and rising electricity prices, and if so, what is that advice?

Hon Nicola Willis: I have not received any advice specifically focused on the relationship between energy company profits and rising electricity prices. From time to time, I receive advice from the Treasury mentioning the range of impacts of electricity prices.
