Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Education: Is it the Government’s intention that the New Zealand Curriculum and Te Marautanga o Aotearoa should align to enable students to move between both curricular pathways and if not, what is the intention, if any, of aligning these curricular pathways?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that dual pathways within the National Curriculum, Te Marautanga o Aotearoa and the New Zealand Curriculum are required to be aligned to support students who move between curriculum pathways.
