17118 (2025). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister for the Public Service: How many, if any, workers are covered by any pay equity claims in each of the public and funded sectors that have been settled since November 2023?

Hon Judith Collins: I am advised that approximately 18,000 employees were covered by the pay equity settlement agreement for the Health NZ: Allied, Scientific and Technical workforce on 3 November 2023. There were also 747 employees covered by the pay equity settlement agreement for Therapists employed by the Ministry of Education on 1 March 2024.
