17106 (2025). Lemauga Lydia Sosene to the Minister of Internal Affairs: What data, if any, has the Minister seen regarding "how many people have been helped by problem gambling services?"

Hon Brooke van Velden: I have seen the Gambling Commission’s Problem Gambling Levy Report 2025 that includes the number of presentations to problem gambling services each year. The data shows a decrease is presentations with the Gambling Commission saying ‘presentations to problem gambling service continues to decline and the rate of problem gambling prevalence remains static’.
