17096 (2025). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Are there staff shortages in the Access and Choice programme; if so, how are staff being recruited?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that as of January 2025, 89 percent of contracted Access and Choice FTE positions were filled. I am further advised that there are some difficulties recruiting for some roles in some locations. In these areas, service providers use a range of activities to support recruitment, including upskilling existing staff, networking with professional bodies, advertising through a variety of channels, and exploring remote working options.
